The story began in 1985, when Ilie Cornea, the craftsman of this Bukovinean business manufactured the first pairs of shoes. This small family business changed in 1994 from a workhouse exclusively producing hand-made footwear for into a real factory that still carries the name of the youngest child in the family – DENIS.

In 1996, Ana Cornea, wife and business partner of DENIS Factory came with the idea of setting up a division for women’s footwear, and her sense of beauty and harmony was the ingredient that led to the birth of ANNA CORI brand.  Women’s footwear truly revolutionized DENIS Factory, placing it in the top footwear manufacturers in Romania.

The setting-up in 1999 of a handbags and accessories division has led to the maturity of ANNA CORI brand, while the cooperation with the Italian designer Davide Vaccari, a true man of vision, completed and reinterpreted the concept of ANNA CORI.  Its assets are represented by the quality of the leather used (brought from Italy) and also of the sole, lining and accessories, doubled by the professionalism of the creation department, the handicraft of more than 400 employees and the high level of technologisation of the factory.
